Introducing Jeshal and her family
The Education Lounge podcast welcome to The Education Lounge podcast this is episode seven and we’re joined today by joshua who’s coming to talk About her her life and her daughter’s um and their education experience in school and it’s all coming to us as well so um welcome thanks for having me Um so I guess we can just start by talking about um why you started uh coming to us in the first place tonight you were one of the first if not the first parent that we’ve had since we opened
That this center right so I guess it all started when my older daughter was in year four of primary school and we went for a parent’s evening and she hadn’t had a good couple of years due to changes in teachers And wasn’t getting the support from her primary school um and I felt she was being singled out a bit you know by some of the teachers at school so in year four it resulted in her falling behind and actually she wasn’t at the level That she needed to be so that was the trigger of okay I need to get some extra help for her and that’s when I started researching and looking for tuition centers and then your second one joined
Like a year after yeah naturally then my younger daughter then came here as well and yeah joined about yeah about a year just over a year after yeah
Consistency and learning
So how do you think sort of having a consistent consistency in education is important and persistence it’s it’s very important consistency Definitely and I think kids need that routine they need to know exactly what they’re doing and it needs to be consistent because I think otherwise um you know you they’re all over the place and I think for kids if they’re going to Take something seriously it has to be consistent and it has to be as a routine and I’ve been very persistent I mean there have been times where the girls when they were younger were like oh why do we need to go to tuition you know um but
Because I’ve been persistent you know we’re carrying on and now you they can they’re all down they’re at secondary school they can definitely see the benefits of it yeah I think yeah routine structure like having it having a specific time Every week definitely and I think it disciplines the kids as well having that because you know it’s they know that at this time I need to go I need to do this and even with the homework it’s like I need to get the homework done by this day because then I’ve got to go and hand in Yeah I think you can see the difference like when you when they first start if they’re in like primary school yeah it’s they don’t take responsibility it’s more like the parent’s responsibility yeah but then when they start to grow up and go secondary school and things like that they take ownership of that and it becomes
Their you know I think they have to um you know to kind of make them a bit more responsible and see the value in what they’re doing that it’s it’s hard work you know keeping up to date with everything and keeping that timetable and fitting it around everything else as well a lot of parents have It’s not just tuition they have like I don’t know football and swimming exactly all sorts of other stuff and finding a time yeah once you’ve got that time and you’ve you know you follow that structure you do I mean it’s certainly it’s I think initially when they’re at primary school it was a lot a Lot more difficult because obviously I was managing their routine and the timetable but they were doing other clubs as well so we’re doing brownies guides swimming all of that um so it’s trying to fit everything in but it gets easier
You said uh that when she wasn’t there when they were in primary school um that they needed a bit of extra album that like one of the teachers he said single would single them out yeah so do you think that schools do enough to help Every student I certainly I think they try um but I think again it’s like you know the same sort of lack of resources you know they don’t have the resources you’ve got what 30 that you want kids in a class To one teacher they don’t get the attention no I don’t think they do and it’s it’s difficult then I think for for children to to learn and every every child has their own learning style as well yeah so you know
Some children prefer to learn in a big group some children need that one-to-one attention and just need a bit more hand-holding I’ve noticed that they’ve got a very specific style of learning both both your daughters so they like very Very very very clear constructions they do yes extremely because they’re quite organized so I think if anyone there’s like little wink firing and stuff like that you’ve got to be very very clear about how you you especially with Something like maths you like so you do this and then that and then it it sort of works very well for them but then and they need to see like loads of instances of of this so if you have like a problem
You’ve got to see many they’ve got to see many instances of the same problem in different contexts exactly for them to apply it well um whereas like some some children they’re not so much like that you can be a bit more it’s a bit more Flowing it’s just like you tell them tell them one thing and then they sort of move on to something else and they can just sort of infer something from it but I think with your daughters they need A lot of clear instructions and then [Music] when they’re taught um how to solve something in one context they need to be showing it in another and then another and then another repeat it a bit and then they gain a bit of confidence and then yeah
I think it does it comes down to confidence and I don’t I think especially my older daughter I don’t feel that she’s as confident as my younger one I think she’s um she doubts herself a lot when it comes to you know especially her Education and that she’s I don’t know what it is but she’s you know she’s always kind of second guessing herself even though she knows she could she’s got the abilities to do something she’s improved like because I watch her classes and I think she’s Improved a lot um and you can see a bit more confidence as well in terms of how she especially with maths or something like that because I think with both of your daughters maths was a bit more of a weakness
Organisation
And there was slightly less confident with it and yeah I’ve noticed that she’s she’s a lot more um that her organization has paid off yeah because the way what I noticed that if some Children are very gifted at mass but then they everything’s a mess basically so this is like chaos where’s this starting and then something over here but then because she lays everything out so neatly and in the long run it will Pay dividends so she will probably do quite well because of that um yeah they need as an organization in masses yeah if you if you saw some of the some
Of the workbooks that we see they’re writing what’s up with their own writing and they’re scribbling everywhere and you can’t you can’t see like a logical yeah or a progression of like steps in what they’re working out because they think that way so isn’t so They think in a very organized way that tends to that tends to in the long run yield your better things then um you get some like occasional math geniuses who are just mass prodigies like that that’s completely Indecipherable what do you think do you think they would prefer do then they prefer english or math I think kia prefers maths because she prefers english
Okay she would prefer english I was surprised to keep at first yeah I think he does prefer maths yeah I think she’s grown into it yeah yeah alongside once the confidence is growing she’s sort of enjoyed it a bit more and she’s in the years in the year 10 Group now right yeah so she’s not going into year 11 going into your 11. she joins in year four which is good actually because you know for me that’s I can see The progress because actually academically at school she’s going into year 10 now so and you know she’s been in a year 10 group here already that should make that transition a lot easier for her yeah our math
Teacher wanted her to sort of wanted her to experience something a bit more challenging challenging because she he’s like and she needs good role models yeah and she’ll take the easy route and unless someone pushes her And really you know challenges her she will take the easy route so you know again luckily you guys do do that and you are pushing her to to do better than you know what she thinks she’s capable of yeah I think she’s outgrown The other like people in that in that year nine class I think he was the right man he’s got more maturity yeah because she was pushed into that group yeah so it’s now like it’s now a challenge rather than just sort of coasting through yeah and she’s got some
Good role I’ve noticed with kia a lot of the time she tends to take after the other children in the group so she copies and she well she like sort of copies that behavior so like if you’ve got a class full of kids That’s all mess around more she’s a lot yeah she’ll go she’ll just go she’ll go with them she’ll go with the majority so it’s very important for so um being surrounded by good role models Um so guys yes I’m going back to school well I’m not sure if you know but when when they are in school do they understand everything that their sport teaches no they don’t understand everything and
They come home and they do say sometimes I’ll I really don’t get this homework or you know if I say to why didn’t you um because we I have visibility of the homework they get through um an app and if I can see it’s late being handed In or you know the teachers kind of handed it in and the teacher has given it back to them to redo I’ll sometimes question that and you know well I didn’t really understand it I thought well why don’t you ask but I don’t think they get that time at School to go to their teachers to ask them or you know it’s like you’ve you’ve done the class and that’s that you’re dismissed yeah well that’s the thing with when I was talking um
You’re the younger one um yeah I could tell you you have to read when she doesn’t understand but she she usually won’t say that I think uh so I’m yeah she would know I mean she took a while to before she was willing To say like I don’t get this well there’ll be or there’ll be a yes with like a slight smile yeah that yes means no I think also with this school like teachers always said you know if you’ve got a question just email us But for a kid writing an email is a bit of effort that they have to put in and so you know majority of the time it doesn’t get done yeah and then it goes back to having like 30 31 people exactly if everyone
Asking questions
Firstly they won’t want to ask a question in front of you in front of the other kids yeah even though most of them will probably have that question uh and then if everybody did ask a question the teacher wouldn’t have time to they don’t want to stay behind and they don’t want to stay behind yeah because they’re missing out on their breaks and that’s eating into that time Yeah I found that when I was at school it was often that I didn’t realize when I didn’t understand it was it you know you thought you understood it yeah yeah I was like I totally get this and then I actually sit down and do something so sometimes it can be just in the moment when you feel like you understand In the classroom and then when they’re saying like does anyone have any questions any questions I’m like nah I don’t know questions and then when you sit down behind my quest yeah how do we do this or did we learn this
Sometimes I did the wrong homework like they gave me page numbers or something like that and then I can believe that I’d do completely a different part of it yeah like I think we’ve had that as well with the girls they’ve done the wrong homework at times I mean yeah if you haven’t done the if you haven’t liked that and they do different homework then there’s no solution to that no until you’ve covered that topic so then you didn’t want to go for 11 plus so it’s not that I didn’t want them to But I wanted to give them that choice and and they decided they decided because you know 11 plus is kind of like this country now where they’re churning out kids to to take the 11 plus and there’s so
Much competition and you’re only getting you know maybe like the top three percent are actually getting a place yeah um and I’ve seen you know through other clubs that the girls have been doing I’ve seen the kids and the impact it has on them
Choosing an appropriate school route
And yeah it’s not always positive it’s not always positive so I didn’t want to put them in that position by force because that’s not going to end well then you know they’re going to end up kind of resenting the whole process and and then what we find is like if if you if you Just get by in that yeah and you go to one of these schools you’re there you’re there at the bottom of your so then at the bottom and you know I know I know children that are at these private schools or grand schools and they’re having to get extra tuition on top of that So it’s a lot of pressure on kids so I gave them the choice if you want to do it I’m fully supportive of it you know we’ll get you the tuition and you can sit the exam and I’ve done that with both of them and they both said no
Kia doesn’t regret it a bit because she does slightly regret it you know she has said I wish I did do my 11th class well really yeah what how come I don’t know I think it’s just the thought of going to a grammar school maybe Um but she’s yeah she’s mentioned no and she’s not like you know she doesn’t really regret it but she’s just mentioned it on occasions or something I don’t know maybe but she said you know maybe maybe I should have done it or I wish I had done it and You know I did and as you know I say to you you made that decision yourself we talked you know because I talked to both of them about it about the process what it involves and about grammar school and that and then they made that decision it becomes quite difficult when they’re
Older as well because you’ve got like you got you had 13 plus some schools do like 14 plus or in year entry and then you’ve got the sixth you’ve got like college yeah so that’ll probably be the next time where you you’d consider it but by that point You’ve made a lot of your friends and exactly so I think you know it’s a long day for the kids as well you know depending on what grammar school they go to but from where we live it’s definitely a long day and also it’s not only like the teaching In the grammar school it’s that whole lifestyle as well that changes um and it’s I don’t want them if there’s enough pressure as it is in schools to keep up and you know to have the latest trends or to be on these social media apps and to wear certain
Things or to to have certain things I know I just feel going to grammar school would make it even worse you know you’ve got to keep up I did I did hear as well that like they tracked children who just failed to get in like hadn’t Reached the pass mark and those who just got in they compared their like a levels and g70s and I think actually the ones who just just missed it So well it shows how much of it down to mindset because if you are one of those that just missed it you’re gonna be not in one of the grammar schools but probably towards the top of your class if not like a couple people here like one or two years ahead compared to just getting in
And being at the bottom your that whole mindset will have like a massive impact yeah definitely and that’s just you know it’s it was their decision they decided not to and kia I think came in and sat the mock exam I think She did the first one I think yeah the first mock exam and you know without any preparation at all she scored over 50 percent which is really good yeah which was really good actually and it kind of Because she didn’t do anything she didn’t do it she didn’t do any preparation whatsoever she did maths in english but but yeah she needs that because you’ve got the four components yeah right and it’s very specific as well and I think you’re trying to teach them and you know the whole revision is
Centered around those four components and nothing else so you’re literally just ingraining all that into them there’s a lot of general knowledge as well yeah you have to kind of you’ve got those four but then they have to be Well-rounded as well you need to know about you know like news and different countries and capital cities and idioms and all this other sort of stuff yeah there’s a lot of information I don’t think it’s so much the amount it’s I think the way that they’re tested isn’t good There’s a lot of stuff we don’t agree we we do it because we don’t agree with it in a sense because yeah we help them through we help them through a difficult challenge so like because I I don’t agree with the I think the testing the way they’re tested is ridiculous yeah I agree um
And it just because it essentially is a speed test yeah so um there’s too much pressure there’s way too much pressure on them there is yeah and they’re so young and I think for me it’s like if a child’s gonna learn it doesn’t Matter where they look where they are they’re gonna you know they will learn if they want to learn their will regardless of what school they’re at yeah then you might need a little bit extra support with that but it’s the mindset of the child I think yeah we have a lot of parents That put like if they’re be all and end or and we’ve got kids they’re just choosing beyond belief not just from what they like they take them to several years I can believe that yeah um and they end up stressed
They end up stressed they end up getting conflicting information like one person if they go to more than one place one person will teach them one way one person with each another um all wrong or incorrectly like we found the other week yeah um yeah it’s just insane it confuses them more makes them more stressed Yeah I don’t agree with that but and it’s weird because there’s like more pressure at that age group than there is a I think there’s a lot more than that GCSE’s yeah definitely gta you can retake as well the only exam that you’ve got one chance To do yeah you don’t really have another shot at it or anything it changes which score you go to and your ten years I mean I know um there’s a girl that lives on my road and she took the 11th class and she came third in the whole of redbridge
For the 11th class and she goes to I think chelmsford now but on the flip side of that my girls used to play you know used to kind of play with her quite a bit when they were younger we did not see her throughout the whole summer holidays we didn’t see Her because she was literally just head down focused on the 11 class you know trying to revise for that and getting the extra tuition and things like that she missed out on the whole summer because of the 11 class I mean Yeah she’s got through yeah now but that’s not going to be the situation for every single child no no it’s a certain example it shows you teaches you failure is bad like because you don’t have any chance to redo it so yeah or to learn from your
Mistake but I think also the the likelihood you know the percentage of people going in is it’s got small smaller and smaller because of the number of people doing it now yeah it seems to be so many people Was it like one in 13 or something something like that there’s like one and a half to 2 000 people are familiar and there’s only 140 places it’s just you know if you know if you know your child has definitely 100 got it in them to do it then yeah go for it But you know I think if you’re gonna stress your child out unnecessarily then it’s not worth it well then it’s usually it’s not usually worth it even if the child has the ability if they’re not into it into that idea yeah the child
Has to be on board yeah we’ve met quite a few children at that that end of the scale I think like they’ve clearly got mobility but it’s just like they’re not gonna because there’s gonna be someone who wants it more than yeah That’s usually it’s usually better anyway that that child gets it because they want it more definitely yeah I was going to ask about um the rapport between both of them I know what it’s like here but at home so I I remember when When cushy was in primary and care was in secondary and care wouldn’t help because she would homework yeah I remember saying to cause she asked here she did it a couple years ago yeah okay she won’t help me she says so yeah and I think do you know what I really saw a change in both of them once
They started starting secondary school from primary to secondary I mean there’s there was a huge change in in them I think when kia went she went went from a really sweet innocent little Child and all of a sudden she’s like you know turning into like a teenager kind of thing attitude the attitude yeah you know what she wears and what she does and how she conducts herself and everything changed and I think because because she was
Siblings and changing relationships
Still in primary school at the time um kia was like well no I’m not I’m not doing anything for you I’m not helping you kind of thing and you know and I saw the same change in because she went because she went from year six to year seven from primary secondary I saw exactly the Same change but they are a lot closer now they’ve got on a lot a lot more than what you know and they have always got on but you know what it’s like sibling like rivalry they’re all you know they’re always gonna have these little arguments or Um disagreements but you know now I can see more of a friendship in them um which is really nice to see you know they’ll go out together they’ll go to cinema together for example or you know they’ll go and get a dessert
Together which is yeah which is really nice and you know they’ve got their own kind of debit cards that are top up and you know one of them will pay for the other sometimes and things like that so yes it’s now turning into more of a friendship which is nice Yeah no I’ve noticed that’s why I wanted to bring it out yeah I’ve noticed in the english class they’re more like they’re more responsive to each other yeah definitely and you know they’ve I think they’ve got more in common now yeah definitely sorry yeah they’re quite similar Quite a lot of ways but yeah they’re very similar how are they different than those so in terms of differences I think cushy is very much homely she’s more homely than kyo’s kia’s um very outgoing
Wants to be out and about with friends all the time whereas because she’s just happy sitting at home in the pajamas you know just you’ve got the tv [Music] so like that they’re different the other way they’re different is cushy is very Like in her room she’s very organized everything has a specific place yeah and she won’t go to sleep until everything’s perfect even in the morning you know when she makes her bed it has to be crisp and it has to you Know throw has to be in a particular way and the christians in a particular way kia doesn’t care about any of that he is just like yeah I’ll get into bed get out of bed you know if I make it I make it it’s funny how it translates into kind
Of how they do work because I’ve noticed that he is usually more comfortable approaching a problem thus less like straightforward in a way and then cushy needs the problem Very organized yeah very organized and even it you know her school books and everything is color coded and you know there’s the highlights the highlights of frame yeah there is highlight for everything but it usually works out quite well Um when you when you’re that organized there’s usually you know they do they tend it tends to work out quite well educationally because in the long run it’s the people who can find their folders
I can’t remember to be honest I feel like I was but maybe I wasn’t as much every single lesson like the teacher just be like looking at the file oh no I was I always had the right book I had the dividers and everything in the right place yeah I was like so I was Like cushy yeah completely yeah everything’s coded organized in a fault in a separate folder or whatever you know yeah I was the person yeah we were meant to like organize our files and that kind of thing and that’s I wouldn’t do it and I lost my history Notes I had some I had to recompile all of the notes again so that wouldn’t place kia if if that happened to key it wouldn’t really faze her whereas if that happened to cushy she would have a meltdown probably yeah there’s advantages to both
Yeah in a combination of both really yeah yeah um well before you go let’s give you something that’s been quite nice actually a little bit of break from work everyone says out There with these I do that every parent says I was quite nice actually to come in and talk so I was quite nervous at first because obviously I don’t know what the questions are or what we’re going to talk about I was telling my um we had a team call today so it’s our last team called because I resigned A week later my manager resigned a day later another girl resigned in our team we’re a team of five and now there’s like two people left it’s not even a team so it’s like today was our last
Ever kind of team call in the last six years so we’ve been a team for six years now um and so yeah it’s stressful for the two people left it is it is stressful but we know we’re just saying to them just push back on The business you know what the business had to do is just drop everything we’ve decided this can you just make it work in the system and you know that’s what they think that we do yeah we can relate to that There’s two of us that run everything yeah um before you go let’s give you this just just a thank you for coming here oh you didn’t need to do that for sticking with us for so long oh that’s really nice lovely thank you sorry there’s um
Chocolates and uh amazon voucher thing in there oh thank you um yes thanks for taking time out that’s all right yeah and otherwise if you need anything from me just let me know what do you might do [Laughter] Yeah who knows let’s see if I find another job I’m sure you are yeah I hope so well I think my husband’s like you at first sorry You’re really that because I was like I can’t sit here day in day out on my own in these four walls it’s honestly I said I can’t do it anymore and it was fine when the girls were at primary school because I could go I’d done the drop off in the morning and
Then the pick-up probably probably the easier way to have it when you’re at primary school yeah exactly you know what I wouldn’t change it for the world because it works and then they’re at secondary school they don’t want anything to do with me they’re like Walking so now I do every morning I get up at six and I’m at the house by half six I do an hour walk and then I come back for half seven and and then at least it gets me out of the house otherwise I wouldn’t leave Yeah I wish we’d start doing that I do walks and stuff but I just can’t get up there early then to be honest most of our time we do go for walks around here most of our time just here and a lot of time we’re in a separate center so it’s just like one of us in
This by ourselves there’s also weapons I thought I was putting on so much weight sitting at home you don’t realize because you’re not active anymore and the only walk I was doing was to the school of birth you might even call that a walk really and so you know I was like
Exercise and family life
I’ve been at home last year I was like I need to do I need to get fit again I was like 40 last year as well so I was like right this is kind of I don’t want to be this 40 year old that’s like fat and miserable and whatever so yeah I was like I need to change things so I started walking runs I can’t run honestly in my life I run I forget to breathe and it’s like really it sounds really stupid but I’m fine I know I kind of know what you Mean yeah and then you’re going to catch all your breath afterwards exactly do like if you do short runs a little bit for a minute and then start yeah you’re getting more done that way as well it’s more efficient
Because you might just have a low vo2 max say how much oxygen that you absorb into yourselves might just be laughed sorry yeah I mean I think I do because actually I get quite I find it quite difficult to breathe at night as well I Have to have the window open at night yeah I mean I have I mean I did think at One point I did because I’d ended up getting up gasping for breath so at one point I didn’t think I had sleep apnea but I don’t think it is I haven’t had it diagnosed or anything like that but it might be to do with the bo2 in which case you can increase it
But you’ve got maximum everyone’s got potential but yeah so like a really the crazy long distance runner would have a ridiculous security max but then most people have like you’ve got like an average range I don’t remember the numbers Some mornings when I can’t get out that early I’ll just go on the cross trainer for about half an hour 40 minutes but I’m like literally by the time I get off it I’m absolutely drenched I’m sweating and because I don’t do it really slow I do it quite Fast as well so do do that but then the you the thing is if you it just means that you’re hot that’s usually why you’re sweating yeah wait it doesn’t mean that you’ve um got a bad vo2 yeah it doesn’t mean
That you’ve affected your vo2 no so so what you the best most effective way is to have a intense intense run or something like that and then you can have a rest and then do wrong yeah the problem is when I have my rest I look like I’m dying After that and once I’ve had my rest I just don’t want to start again yeah but no it’s nice because you meet like in the morning now there’s like regulars that go and they’re all they’re all old people but they’re regulars that go every single morning and it’s like hi how are You okay you know there’s one old man really old man he’s a punjabi guy and he wears a turban he walks and he has his hand on his back and he walks like that whenever he sees me looking like hello champion he’s kind of cheering for me
Like one of the young ones in the park at that time in the morning so yeah it’s quite nice seeing them and that he does you do yeah I do got personal training I used to go twice a twice a week Okay um but then when lockdown happens it got more expensive once a week I just use my apple watch to track everything you you should tell you’re there too on there though oh is it are we on your phone but if you open the health app on your phone Yeah we’ll tell you what your video is oh okay but yeah so that’s what I do now just track everything and kind of try and burn my calories I thought I would do that and now I just I just look at it and think oh I’ve done two thousand that’s none of that about
It with me it’s like I’ve got this thing about if I’m doing something I have to do it properly so it’s like I I don’t if I can’t close my rings today I’ll worry about it and it’s really it’s ridiculous I know That sounds good but I have to then close all three rings every day I can’t I can’t like the step the uh standing goal thing I can get yeah but I find it the outside one the move the move Yeah so mine’s on 500 as well I think that’s probably too high for me I’ve done four seven nine so far so I mean yeah you need to get on on it standing is fine exercise if I want to
Do like walks or like badminton or whatever the move one just never never gets there right I think maybe 500 calories might be too high for me I don’t know maybe how did you work out that’s just a default I started off last year at 600 Calories and I was doing that no problem because I was unfair so my heart was having to work a lot harder and therefore I was burning more calories yeah but as the year’s gone on now I’m going down to 500 but I’m not burning as many I’m Doing just as much but I’m not burning as many calories now I’ve only done one measurement I mean what we’ve done really is coming here that’s why there’s we’ve walked from there yeah yeah to there maybe I carried all of this stuff and then you get more challenges as well
The monthly challenges so I’m like I didn’t do the july one because what was the july one my july one was I had to do it to the ground move goal I had to do like 26 000 calories You’ve probably done it because you went to scotland I think I did I think 700 a day something like that it worked out to me did they average out yeah how many you have to do I don’t do it per day if we do like if We go and play badminton or whatever I’ll burn like a week’s worth in just that one yeah one hour one half hour gabe or whatever so this is my august challenge which is I have to do um I think it’s 165 miles
Over august I’ve probably done that we’ve just come back from scotland oh wow okay so I’m probably probably almost there by now my average in the day is like 5.3 miles Which I do apart from the weekends because monday to friday I’m doing four miles in the park in the morning anyway but then we did a lot of vertical climbing so I like it it doesn’t really it was some distance yeah we climbed like 200 meters up mountain Wow it was yeah it’s difficult but that’s not a holiday I know we did other stuff as well we went to took a train to edinburgh and went around a couple of tours and stuff there we did a tour of a craft ale brewery he loved that
It was so good that’s all I drink it’s really nice like it’s just this craft oh you should um get in touch with my husband then because he works with it so he holds he did work free trade beers and wines do you know where city limits is yeah city pavilion
Work
So it’s returning just before that in the roundabout and then they’re just there on the right hand side well the other the actual brewery are they no they’re not the warehouse in the district so they supply to restaurants bars pubs and then they also have public walking in Um and so and they’re only they’re on instagram okay so you can follow them free free trade beers wines so yeah he does all the pricing and all of that for for the whole warehouse of all the stock that they have that’s awesome yeah so um you know if You want booze unfortunately after a donut is drinking I go in there occasionally provide them like a vote advice hr advice and then but they paint it in bottles of wine
You should take a trip I was interviewing for them because I wanted an administrative office of it so they’re like oh can you come in and do the interview so I went in for half they’ve done the interviews and they was like yeah don’t worry don’t worry No I would never work with you yes they’ve been around for about 45 years now so the guy that owns it is pretty old and his son now runs the business but he was like he goes the girl that is In the hospital tell me what to come and work here because he must have said doesn’t it oh she’s leaving her job in that so let’s come here and you’re like you won’t be able to support her do I trust me like that yeah
But my way it was like all the time you need a break sometimes I think during lockdown the girls found it really difficult having my husband around because he’d been furloughed I was still working and the girls were Still doing online schooling and because he had nothing to do he obviously couldn’t bug me because I tell him to piss off and then the girls were just like getting really annoyed with him like what Absolutely hated it you can tell them body
You could tell that she’s just like dies off and that kind of thing just look in that screen for that and I think it just doesn’t it’s learning she’s very body language she goes with body language a lot and without you know you’re not able to make those Kind of movements and stuff like that that you should usually get and like you give her a hint and that kind of thing with body language I’m a very handy person so you struggled really quite a lot with that but yeah They absolutely hated online schooling both of them I think most people did they started off with good intentions and everything and it’s like then it came to that pe online pe and they said you would do that
They had this form that I had to print off and then the teacher would be doing the exercises and the kids were expected to do it with the teacher and tick it off on the phone and then I remember one day I think we’d ordered Mcdonald’s or something she sat there watching her teacher eating the mcdonald’s Doesn’t make sense yeah exactly what’s the point of this that’s what she’s always saying what’s the point there’s not always an answer for that question is that no there isn’t all right I guess we can we can wrap it
Up there yeah I think that’s good [Music] You
